The integrated, feature-rich and power optimized Alchemy Processor from RMI can enables up to 12 hours of playback time in a true mobile computing platform. Clearview’s miPC Infinity is the smallest and most versatile mobile internet PC in the world offering performance and capability not previously available in a mobile PC.
Csaba Tomas, president and founder Clearview Technology explained that the company
undertook a ground-up redesign of the PC architecture resulting in radical miniaturization, extended battery life and high performance in a usable and affordable package that is finally small enough to be called mobile. According to Tomas, this device represents a new PC category that will transform mobile computing as they know it and they wouldn’t have been able to achieve the level of performance and integration without the RMI Alchemy Au1250 Processor.
The Infinity miPC is powered by the RMI Alchemy Au1250 Processor running at 600MHz and features the functionalities of a laptop, HPC, PPC, PDA and multimedia player, with digital video and picture recording capabilities integrated into a single compact device.
