Insight Enterprises Provides Technology Solutions to Benefit Childsplay

Insight Enterprises has entered into a partnership agreement with Childsplay, a nonprofit professional theater company dedicated to young audiences and families. The company has donated approximately $30,000 in professional services to help fully leverage the technology in Childsplay’s new facility.

The services delivery team of the company facilitated the design and deployment of a new network and server infrastructure which is inclusive of the cabling backbone, and features VoIP, according to officials.

Officials pointed out that the overall solution enables the Childsplay organization to “better communicate and share information with each other over the network.”

“When we first met with them in 2006 and learned about their Bright LIGHTS Bright KIDS Capital Campaign, we were happy to commit to providing them with a technology solution that would allow a seamless transition into their new facility,” said Rich Fennessy, president and CEO at Insight Enterprises, in a statement.

Steve Martin, managing director at Childsplay, expects that Insight's contribution will better position Childsplay to provide imaginative and thought-provoking theater experiences for Arizona's children and families.

Childsplay says that its mission “to create theatre so strikingly original in form, content or both, that it instills in young people an enduring awe, love and respect for the medium, thus preserving imagination and wonder, the hallmarks of childhood which are keys to the future.”

Insight Enterprises is a provider of brand-name information technology hardware, software and services to all types businesses and public sector institutions in North America, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Asia-Pacific.
