Solugenix Selects IO's Next-Generation Modular Technology

Phoenix, Ariz., based IO, a provider of data center infrastructure for the world's largest enterprises, governments and service providers, has been awarded a contract from Solugenix, a decades old IT consulting firm.

Under the terms of the agreement, IO is going to provide Solugenix with Data Center as a Service (DCaaS) at IO Phoenix. The services will be delivered through its modular technology platform IO Anywhere.

The DCaaS model will provide Solugenix with the data center capacity the company needs today, along with the ability to quickly scale as needed. The approach also eliminates the need for investing resources in building and maintaining its own data center.

“Today's traditional data centers will soon become obsolete when you consider all the benefits modularity has to offer,” CEO at Solugenix Shashi Jasthi noted in a statement.  “After reviewing a number of solutions, IO's next-generation modular technology puts us at a significant advantage from a scalability, cost and reliability standpoint, to better support the dynamic needs of our IT customers.”

In the beginning of the year, Solugenix Corporation announced a partnership with Dynamics Software, a 100 percent dedicated Microsoft Independent Software Vendor (ISV), to deliver Service Management for industries with service characteristics.
