TRENDnet Intros 200Mbps Powerline Adapter

Wired and wireless networking hardware brand, TRENDnet (News - Alert) has unveiled a 200Mbps Compact Powerline AV Adapter, model TPL-306E, and the 200Mbps Compact Powerline AV Adapter Kit, model TPL-306E2K, which comes with two TPL-306E adapters.

These high end adapters can be an ideal use for network computers, televisions, and other devices using existing home or office electrical lines.

Users can switch to these adapters to saves space when plugged into a crowded electrical outlet. They can even utilize this network one adapter to a router and plug another adapter into any outlet on the same electrical system for instant high speed network access.

These small form factor adapters connect automatically to each other over a secure encrypted signal with no CD installation required. A minimum of two adapters are required to build a network. Users can get additional security by clicking on the Sync button to change existing encryption keys.

Furthermore, to go with these adapters are the LED display that enables users to get to know about the device status for easy power management and troubleshooting.

These adapters are backed by the embedded power saving technology that helps is decreasing the power consumption by up to 70 percent in standby mode-resulting in measurable power savings, given that the device is always on.The company is currently selling the 200Mbps Compact Powerline AV Adapter, model TPL-306E for $54.99 with a three year limited warranty.Whereas, the 200Mbps Compact Powerline AV Adapter Kit, model TPL-306E2K is priced at $99.99 and comes with two TPL-306E adapters, a three year limited warranty, and is currently shipped to TRENDnet's online and retail partners.

TRENDnet was recently in news for confirming the availability of 450Mbps Dual Band Wireless N HD Media Bridge; model TEW-680MB, in the market.
