Bsquare Unveils TestQuest 10 Automation Technology Suite

BSQUARE (News - Alert) Corporation, a provider of production-ready software products, engineering services, solutions and automated testing for smart, connected devices has launched TestQuest (News - Alert) 10, a new test automation technology suite.

The new product offers key strengths of TestQuest Pro and TestQuest CountDown and adds new functionality that creates a test automation solution that is unsurpassed in the marketplace.

The technology improvements included in the new TestQuest 10 solution are expected to help application developers and original equipment manufacturers get their products to market quickly. It also helps users save time and money, by reducing test costs and complexity while also increasing software and device quality, company officials said.

Leveraging Bsquare TestQuest 10, customers can reduce per test pass costs and complexity of test case development by integrating with popular tools.

Its scalable automation enables test case reuse across multiple devices increasing execution accuracy, while it supports test execution on desktop prototypes, emulators and simulators enabling test execution to start before production hardware is available.

The solution also supports testing for devices running on Android (News - Alert) and Windows Embedded platforms and offers improved intelligent text recognition and language capabilities.

"TestQuest 10 provides customers with a test automation solution that is the best of both worlds combining the flexible, extensible test creation of TestQuest Pro and the distributed, scalable test execution of TestQuest CountDown,” said John Traynor, vice president of products for Bsquare, in a statement.

“In addition, we did extensive product research and added many of our customers' top requests. The result is a solution that provides greater breadth and depth of automated testing while delivering tremendous value to customers," Traynor added.

Recently, BSQUARE announced that it renewed its original equipment manufacturer (OEM) distribution agreement with Microsoft (News - Alert) for the 13th year. The renewed agreement calls on the company to continue distributing the complete line of Microsoft Embedded Operating Systems within the United States, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
