Ericom AccessCloud has been announced by the global provider of application access and virtualization solutions, Ericom Software. The adoption of Cloud-hosted services will be facilitated by ISVs and cloud-hosting companies with the new initiative. These include Software as a Service or SaaS (News - Alert), Multi-tenancy, and billing and automatic provisioning solutions.
ISVs who want to SaaS-enable their single tenant Windows client/server applications are provided a comprehensive solution with Ericom AccessCloud. ISVs will be also able to support their customers’ migration of IT services to a Cloud infrastructure with Ericom AccessCloud.
Quick and easy means for Webification and SaaS-enablement of Windows applications is provided by Ericom’s AccessCloud initiative. Cloud hosting companies can rapidly grow their business at an accelerated pace with Ericom AccessCloud. Thousands of ISVs with Windows client/server applications are therefore able to get to the Cloud. These ISVs are also able to provide their applications on a SaaS model.

Ericom AccessCloud has been first implemented by cloud-hosting company, Cylliance. According to Cylliance CEO, Tom Lerch, ISVs can now deliver applications from Cylliance’s computing cloud to their clients through a web browser.
Lerch said, “Using our comprehensive solution, ISVs can provision, manage, and bill clients for software in the cloud, which can be accessed from anywhere there is a web browser and an Internet connection. AccessCloud is a game changer to which our clients have responded very favorably.”
In other news, Leostream Corp., a developer of virtual hosted desktop software, and Ericom Software recently announced the integration of Ericom products into Leostream Mobile Desktops.
