Flash Files Converted to HTML5 in a Flash with Conversion Tool

Web content providers and designers who have all along used Adobe (News - Alert) Flash but now have to embrace the new web standard will heave a sigh of relief as SourceTec Software has provided an online service that enables flash files to be played in HTML5 compatible browsers.

This new method of developing web animation has broken the barriers that exist between the two and allows web developers to make an easy transition between flash and HTML5 without using extra plug ins or installing new software.

Project Manager Deng said in a press release, “This is a free online service that provides simple and basic flash to HTML5 conversion for common users. For enterprise users, we also develop a more professional, systematic and customizable solution, we welcome any inquiry from enterprise users. It is a valuable solution for all web content providers.”

Thus, The Flash to HTML5 Online easily converts SWF to HTML5 animation even without the Flash Player being installed. Once the converted HTML 5 animation is on the website, users’ whose devices support that standard can view the animation seamlessly.

There are two kinds of online services that are offered. Either local SWF files can be converted to HTML 5 or online SWF files can be converted to HTML 5.

In the first case, SWF files can be uploaded from the user’s local computer and converted into HTML 5. The converted files can be downloaded by users, who can then add the HTML 5 animation to their individual websites.

To convert online SWF files to HTML 5, the URL of an online SWF file has to be input and a code generated. The generated code is then copied to a clipboard and pasted on the desired web page. Once the web page is published, the animation can be viewed. The converted HTML5 animation can be applied on different platforms as long as it has a HTML5 supported browser.

The free online conversion tool is available on Flash-to-HTML 5 Online while the installable version called Sothink SWF Decompiler can be found at the Sothink website.

In other news, Sothink recently announced the introduction of its Free Video Converter 3.4, an all-in-one video converter freeware, which helps users convert video to any other video and audio formats.
