Newegg Bolsters its Online Address with Panasonic's Cordless Power Tools

Newegg Inc., a one-stop shop for online shoppers, entered into a partnership with Panasonic and boosted its home improvement selection with the addition of Panasonic's cordless power tools, much acclaimed for their quality and cutting edge technology.

“We're thrilled to add Panasonic (News - Alert) Power Tools to our home improvement offerings as we position ourselves as the place where home improvement meets technology,” said Chris Presley, senior director of Newegg Home Improvement, in a press release.

Considered as the second-largest online-only retailer in the United States, Newegg Inc., has more than 16 million registered users, who will now benefit from the wider selection of hand and power tools that are considered ideal in many sectors of industry.

The site offers customers a comprehensive selection of the latest consumer electronics, detailed product descriptions and images, as well as how-to information and customer reviews. Using the site's online tech community, customers have the opportunity to interact with other enthusiasts.

While Richard Cronin, director of Panasonic Home and Health Care Company considered the partnership as a wonderful opportunity to showcase the cordless power tool line with a highly respected online retailer, Presley was equally delighted with the opportunity to showcase Panasonic Power Tools that have consistently figured at the top in customer satisfaction surveys.

Panasonic has been developing intelligent power tools that operate extremely efficiently even in tough conditions. Its power tools are now known for their high capacity Lithium-Ion batteries that deliver faster charging cycles and longer operation life and also feature dust and water resistance technology recognized recognized under the international protection code standards.

In other news, CEVA (News - Alert) Logistics, one of the world’s leading supply chain companies, together with Newegg Inc., announced a multi-million dollar contract for home television delivery services.

Newegg recognized CEVA’s experience and commitment in the home delivery market after touring its Carson, California facility, after which the companies signed the agreement.
