Citrix Systems Acknowledges CDW's Contributions as Reseller Partner

Citrix Systems (News - Alert) Inc. recognized the contributions made by its reseller partner CDW LLC., a provider of technology solutions to business, government, education and healthcare industry. It named CDW (News - Alert) the “Large Account Reseller Partner of the Year.” This is the first time that Citrix Systems has instituted such an award.

Excellence in delivering Citrix based solutions and its significant growth of Citrix business during 2010 were factors that made Citrix System decide in CDW's favor from among ll Citrix Large Account Reseller partners in North America.

“Together, solutions from Citrix and CDW help customers transform their distributed computing infrastructures into a flexible, people-centric, on-demand service that enables users to work from anywhere, anytime and on any device,” said Fernando Campo, vice president, Americas, Citrix, in a press release.

Campo further added, “We are pleased to recognize CDW for its success and ability to design, implement and manage a complete solution.”

CDW also excelled at working with the Citrix geographical area teams and proposes to expand its focused initiatives throughout 2011.

The Large Account Reseller of the Year Award took into consideration factors such as revenue growth, strategic sales and marketing programs, training and certification achievements and extent of participation in the Citrix/Microsoft (News - Alert) v-Alliance program.

This alliance program is an initiative that requires joint delivery of high-value client virtualization solutions to customers.

According to Harry Zoberman, CDW vice president, software solutions, mobility, virtualization and growth of the 'Bring your Own Technology' concept had triggered the need for simple technology solutions for complicated business and mission problems.

Zoberman commented on the companies' capabilities and said, “Both CDW and Citrix answer these needs, supporting today’s virtual work style with leading edge virtual computing solutions.”
