Mayflex Adds Fluke Networks' AirMagnet Solution to its Product Portfolio

Mayflex, the distributor of converged IP solutions, recently announced a new addition to its product portfolio. The company has added AirMagnet (News - Alert) solutions from Fluke Networks to its range.

The leader in security, performance and compliance solutions for wireless LANs, AirMagnet solutions are used throughout the WLAN life cycle to help plan, design, verify, troubleshoot and monitor a wireless deployment.

“The AirMagnet range from Fluke Networks (News - Alert) is an ideal addition to our current product offering and only goes to strengthen the Mayflex converged IP message,” said Anita Mistry, director of Sales Networking at Mayflex, in a recent press release

Rob Jewell (News - Alert), UK Channel Manager at Fluke Networks said, “It seemed a natural step for us to work with Mayflex to distribute the AirMagnet solution. Mayflex has a proven track record with Flukes’ traditional product sets and with their expertise with selling and supporting wireless solutions from Aruba Networks (News - Alert), Extreme Networks and LevelOne they have the right type of customers to benefit from the AirMagnet solution.”

In related news, Mayflex recently entered a partnership agreement with Veracity, the leader in connectivity and transmission solutions for IP Video. According to the terms of the agreement, Mayflex is appointed as a master distributor. Mayflex has taken stock of the most commonly used items so is ready to start supporting customers with their needs immediately.

Veracity is the manufacturer of Ethernet and Power over Ethernet (PoE) extenders, IP camera installation tools and Power and Ethernet over Coax devices. These products help installers and integrators with their IP surveillance installations, using ‘plug and play’ solutions to overcome any potential installation barriers such as 100 meter data transmission distance limits for standard CAT5 cable, re-using coaxial cable or providing power to network cameras.
