Zed Launches Master Service Content Provider Platform in North America

Zed, a provider of multi-platform marketing solutions and innovative digital value-added content services, announced the launch of its Master Service Content Provider platform (MSCP) in the North American market.

Greg Levy, director of product management of Zed said in a release, “With mobile technology standards rapidly evolving, the challenge is delivering solutions that will provide mobile operators and media brands support for their extremely large and assorted base of customers. Our MSCP enables our partners to readily monetize their content delivered via mobile.”

MSCP boasts of 30 successful deployments across the world and is a robust end-to-end solution that offers managed rich-media entertainment storefronts. Zed offers CRM-driven marketing activities a capability leveraged by MSCP to ensure effective, multi-channel marketing using mobile, Web and social media.

According to company sources Zed’s MSCP is the platform of choice for media companies that uses mobile as a medium for ensuring deeper user engagement and brand loyalty.

The MSCP solution allows Zed to ingest, manage and distribute different content types; supports various business models and billing mechanisms for commerce and advertising, besides providing real-time reporting and analytics. It also offers support for multiple languages and other mobile operating systems.

 “Our solutions are highly modular and cost-effective. The built-in segmentation and marketing capabilities are very robust, enabling us to customize the full user experience for mobile subscribers,” emphasized Levy.

MSCP’s functionalities include multi-content types including music, videos, games, and rich-media applications; cross-platform web, mobile web, HTML5, and native applications; CRM, user segmentation, and social media integration and full range of business models including a-la-carte, subscription, discount prices, bundling, freemium and ad-based.

In related industry news, Zed and US Cellular also announced the launch of Ringback Radio, as part of an upgrade to their Tone Room Deluxe.
