Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions Picks Cliniconex's Stock Trader Powered by GENBAND

GENBAND (News - Alert), a provider of IP infrastructure and application solutions, announced that Orange Business Services (News - Alert) - Trading Solutions has selected Cliniconex Stock Trader Alert application, which was developed as part of GENBAND’s GENFuzion Developer Challenge.

Orange Business Services - Trading Solutions is a provider of voice and electronic trading infrastructure and services for trading communities.

Cliniconex Stock Trader Alert application automatically connects brokers and traders when Web-configurable thresholds have been reached, allowing professionals to communicate faster than before to buy or sell stocks, company officials said.

GENFuzion Developer Community is an open, collaborative eco-system designed to bring together app developers and service providers.

The solution helps Trading Solutions customers increase productivity, reduce IT costs and function with maximum efficiency, Grosclaude added. “We look forward to presenting this innovative stock tracking solution to our customers in the financial market.”

Stock Trader works with fixed and mobile phones as well as Trading Solutions’ Open Trade smart turret. It initiates a click to call and connects the professional to a live trader or broker to handle a trade. Open Trade, a next generation personal trading assistant and platform, utilizes the GENBAND A2 platform’s Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) embedded on its financial extranet as a private cloud-based application server.

 “The GENFuzion Developer Challenge presented an outstanding opportunity for our company, providing access to GENBAND’s tier 1 customer, Trading Solutions, and delivering a truly differentiated development community and platform,” said Anthony Mar, CEO of Cliniconex, in a statement.

“By collaborating with Trading Solutions while leveraging the A2 platform’s open programmability, our development team was able to create a working prototype within three weeks and demo the product within six weeks,” Mar added.

Recently, GENBAND announced a breakthrough mobile phone application for restaurant and hospitality industry created during the “GENBAND Developer Challenge.”
