CompanionLink Extends Sync Support for Microsoft Outlook on Windows 8 Preview Build

CompanionLink Software, a developer of data synchronization solutions for mobile phones and CRM software, announced is now extending two-way synchronization support of Microsoft (News - Alert) Outlook on Windows 8 Preview Build in its new data synchronization software.

Leveraging the new CompanionLink 5, users can benefit from sync with Outlook contacts, calendar, tasks, and memos to smartphones and tablets running Android (News - Alert) OS, BlackBerry, webOS, or Windows phone platforms. Users of Apple iOS devices can sync contacts, calendar, tasks, memos, categories, and task priorities.

Recently, CompanionLink Software announced the launch of a new version of their synchronization engine - CompanionLink 5.

Version 5 brings support for the latest Android, Apple iOS, and BlackBerry (News - Alert) devices. It also features a configuration wizard that guides users in setting up a reliable sync system and the ability to sync with multiple devices in the Express and Professional versions, allowing people to sync more than one device using a single license of the software.

CompanionLink already syncs with advanced CRM platforms like Sage ACT!, Salesforce.com (News - Alert), Zoho CRM, SugarCRM, Outlook Business Contact Manager, Lotus Notes, and Palm Desktop. The company is also offering a two-way sync between Outlook and Google (News - Alert), Gmail, and Google Apps accounts.

In other news, CompanionLink Software recently unveiled their new website and “Help Me Choose” online tool. Featuring a modern new look, the website is built to make it easy for visitors to learn what the best sync options are for their database and mobile device.
