Riverbed Shows Hybrid Cloud Performance Solutions at Interop New York 2011

The conference, Interop New York will take place at October 3 - 7, 2011 in New York, NY and Riverbed (News - Alert) Technology has confirmed its participation at the event.

Riverbed will be available at booth number 409 and will showcase its hybrid cloud performance solutions, which help globally-connected enterprises to consolidate IT infrastructure and reduce costs while increasing employee collaboration and productivity.

According to a press release, Riverbed executives and a Riverbed customer will also participate in panel discussions to weigh in on issues that are challenging today's distributed enterprises, including issues relating to hybrid cloud computing and network management.

This event will be attended by thought leaders, vendors, and networking and storage professionals.

Riverbed transforms IT performance by offering solutions spanning wide area network (WAN) optimization, application-aware network performance management (NPM), application delivery controller (ADC (News - Alert)), web content optimization (WCO), and cloud data protection for backup, archive and disaster recovery.

The company delivers hardware, software and virtualized solutions that overcome performance issues caused by distance, distributed computing, and ever increasing amounts of data. Virtualization, consolidation and cloud computing promise huge cost savings and improved efficiencies, but as users move farther from their data, slow applications and file transfers can stall these strategic initiatives.
