Nephos6 Unveils IPv6 and Cloud Consulting Services Portfolio

Helping companies in the process of IPv6 transition and cloud implementation, Nephos6, a new technology consulting firm, has announced a new suite of consulting services.

As companies address two major, inevitable inflexion points: IPv6 transition and cloud migration; Nephos6’s comprehensive service portfolio covers the spectrum of critical business and technology issues facing enterprises and service providers. To take advantage of these transitions, Nephos6 helps businesses prepare and differentiate their products, the company stated in a press release.

“With our extensive experience in IPv6 and cloud computing, we have developed a comprehensive suite of services to help enterprise and service provider customers find long term value in taking advantage of both transition events to position their businesses for future opportunities,” said Dr. Ciprian Popoviciu, president and CEO of Nephos6. “Companies that take both transition events into consideration make the most of each while maximizing their IT investment dollar.”

The opportunities for business and market growth will be fueled by a cost effective and efficient method to deploy next generation IPv6- and cloud-based services and applications, particularly for cable and telecommunications, healthcare, financial services, energy, and IT product manufacturing industries as these two technologies converge.

The service portfolio includes: Education and Training; Strategy, Planning and Assessment; Design, Deployment and Management; and Product Review and Planning services to help companies in a successful transition.

Apart from Nephos6, many other companies are working on IPv6 technology. Recently, Dialogic (News - Alert), a provider of communications technologies, announced the release of the new Dialogic Brooktrout (News - Alert) SR140 Fax Software, the new Fax over IP (FoIP) software that supports the latest version of Internet Protocol (version 6), also known as IPv6.

By offering support to IPv6 in addition to the predominant IPv4, the Fax over IP solution Release 6.4 enables hosted service providers to make the transition to IPv6 easier.
