Lucid Imagination Introduces Open Source Search

The latest version of LucidWorks has been released by Lucid Imagination. The development of highly accurate, scalable and cost-effective search applications is accelerated and simplified with the cutting edge platform LucidWorks. An announcement in this regard has been made by the commercial company for Apache Lucene and Solr search technology, Lucid Imagination.

Full open source Apache Lucene/Solr community innovation is delivered by LucidWorks Platform 2.0 in an enterprise-ready package. The world's top experts in open source search will provide support to the platform. For the first time, security and pre-built connectors for essential enterprise data sources are provided by a Solr distribution. Available for on-premise and cloud deployment, companies are given the option of actionable information and insights by LucidWorks.

Lucene/Solr is being used by thousands of big and small companies in mission-critical applications. Open source search-enabled applications are being used by diverse organizations to quickly access enterprise data and content.

Lucene/Solr technology is delivered by Lucid Imagination in a format that spearheads its adoption and deployment for enterprise application use. Crucial out of the box functionality has been introduced for enterprise-grad security. Search configuration, deployment and operations have been streamlined with time saving operational and upgrade tools. The transformation of search from a legacy application to a versatile platform has been therefore accelerated by LucidWorks.

Users can download the latest version of LucidWorks Enterprise. A private beta of LucidWorks Cloud is also currently available.
