New Version of Private WiFi Software Helps Solve Network Connection Issues

A new version of Private Communications Corporation's flagship software product offering, Private WiFi (News - Alert), which includes Connectivity Tests, has been released.

With the release of the new version of Private WiFi software, users can now troubleshoot connection issues when they encounter them while running Private WiFi.

"Connectivity Tests gives the power back to where it belongs, in the user's hands," says Kent Lawson, CEO, Private WiFi, in a press release. "With this tool, they will be able to diagnose and resolve any connection issues they might have when using Private WiFi."

This new tool incorporated in the latest version of the software runs automatically and provides users with important information that indicate the nature of the problem. Empowered by such information, users can identify the root of a connection issue and resolve it immediately.

The press release indicated that Public WiFi usage has continuously been on the rise as it is easily accessible and convenient to use from just about anywhere. However, the security concerns that go with using a Public WiFi network need to be addressed before they can be safely used.

“Invasion of privacy” while using a Public WiFi network is rather common as these networks use radio waves for the transmission of data. This means that all private and sensitive information is visible and accessible to anyone within that network. Computer tools called “Sniffers” are used by hackers to steal such unencrypted data.

On the other hand, Private WiFi helps to encrypt all computer data across unencrypted WiFi networks and in the process enhances online privacy for users who don't have access to virtual private networks. In a sense, Private WiFi allows users to create their own personal and secure virtual private network tunnel.
