Certes Networks Introduces Network Encryption Starter Kit

Making it easy and cost effective for organizations to experience the full benefits of multi-layer encryption, Certes Networks has announced that the company has introduced a Network Encryption Starter Kit.

With the ability to be upgraded to higher bandwidths, the Encryption Starter Kit is priced under $1,000 USD and includes TrustNet Manager software and two 3Mbps multi-layer encryption appliances. Allowing organizations to match encrypted throughput to their existing link speeds, with 23 different bandwidth options ranging from 3Mbps to 10Gbps across four platforms, Certes Networks offers the only variable speed encryption option on the market, the company stated in a press release.

“Many enterprises and government organizations allow network and security professionals to use corporate credit cards to expedite the ordering process for items below a certain cost threshold," said Thomas Gill, CEO of Certes Networks. "At the request of several customers, we created an e-commerce portal where customers can order the starter kits online for proof of concepts or small encryption deployments. Several customers have already taken advantage of this and have been pleased with the cost and convenience”

The Encryption Starter Kit can be the foundation of an enterprise-wide encryption and data privacy strategy with the scalability of TrustNet Manager. TrustNet Manager's powerful web-based policy builder makes it easy to add sites and data centers at any time to the encryption deployment. The management remains easy and the encryption remains transparent to the network, regardless of the number of sites being secured.

Recently, the company announced that it has signed an agreement with Affigent LLC, a leading provider of technology products and solutions to federal government worldwide. Specializing in advanced information security solutions, Affigent is known for delivering seamless, scalable and secure support at every phase of the enterprise solution lifecycle. Certes Networks' innovative policy and key management solution and multi-layer, wire-speed encryption appliances can secure any network without impacting the underlying infrastructure or application performance.
