CipherCloud recently announced the availability of CipherCloud Version 2. The various solutions that are available in CipherCloud Version 2 are out-of-the-box connector, CipherCloud connect open API, and cloud malware detection. These applications allow enterprises to secure their data against any external threat from accessing their data in either public or private cloud platforms or applications. The connectors available in CipherCloud 2 are for Salesforce, Force.com, Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) (AWS), and Box.net. The open API’s provide developers to create custom modules to better protect their data from any malware or security threat. They can leverage CipherCloud data protection technology with their public or private cloud applications.

In a release, Gartner (News - Alert) Research Director Lawrence A. Also, organizations must use anti-virus and anti-malware capabilities when collaborating on documents, to ensure protection as they traverse this new infrastructure between internal and external users.”
