Unified Data Protection for All Cloud Services Offered by CipherCloud

CipherCloud recently announced the availability of CipherCloud Version 2. The various solutions that are available in CipherCloud Version 2 are out-of-the-box connector, CipherCloud connect open API, and cloud malware detection. These applications allow enterprises to secure their data against any external threat from accessing their data in either public or private cloud platforms or applications. The connectors available in CipherCloud 2 are for Salesforce, Force.com, Amazon Web Services (News - Alert) (AWS), and Box.net. The open API’s provide developers to create custom modules to better protect their data from any malware or security threat. They can leverage CipherCloud data protection technology with their public or private cloud applications.

In a release, Gartner (News - Alert) Research Director Lawrence A. Pingree said, “When planning to collaborate or leverage cloud services, organizations must consider many security and regulatory compliance measures such as data protection and threat protection technologies. Flexible encryption technologies are the key to maintaining the security of sensitive data in the cloud. Also, organizations must use anti-virus and anti-malware capabilities when collaborating on documents, to ensure protection as they traverse this new infrastructure between internal and external users.”

The various feature benefits of using CipherCloud are: they provide unified cloud data protection, cloud data privacy, cloud data security and cloud data compliance. These security features makes CipherCloud one of the best data protection services in the cloud for all the users who are benefitting from the cloud computing phenomenon.
