Kyield Founder Receives Artificial Intelligence Patent for Data Optimization in the Digital Workplace

Kyield, a provider of technologies to improve performance in the computing environment, announced that its founder and CEO Mark Montgomery received an artificial intelligence patent (#8005778) titled “Modular System for Optimizing Knowledge Yield In the Digital Workplace” from the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

The patented self-managed system enables individuals and organizations to tailor quality and quantity of their data consumption in a continuously adaptable manner, with automated auditing of data on the Web, Intranet, and mobile devices.

Montgomery developed the patented technology in order to manage big data and eliminate complex business intelligence challenges in the digital workplace that have proven to negatively impact individual and organizational performance.

“The patent validation of our novel approach to data optimization will help deliver the ability for individuals and organizations to optimize their performance yield curve on a continuous basis, easily tailoring to specific needs, with deep metrics and essential differentiation in the digital workplace that has long-been commoditized,” said Montgomery in a statement.

“The claims covered by this patent are vital in overcoming structural barriers in the data-intensive network environment, including personalized medicine, e-learning, innovation, organizational performance, and crisis prevention,” Montgomery added.

The patent represents an important component of the company’s semantic enterprise operating system, which is planned as the foundation of a new independent ecosystem in partnership with licensees, according to company officials.

Recently, Kyield announced the launch of a new semantic health care platform designed to reduce health care costs, improve organizational efficiencies, and escalate therapeutic discoveries.

The health care platform enables patients to self-manage health while making informed decisions with evidence-based data. By combining interoperable protocols with advanced analytics and third party health management applications, the Kyield health care platform exceeds the certification requirements outlined in the recent U.S. stimulus and health care reform legislation.
