Bacula Systems is helping its partners tap the market opportunity for its subscription-based solution due to tighter budgets within IT departments and large data centers.
The company has launched its new worldwide Business Partner Program to this end.
Bacula Systems, which provides commercial open source backup and restore software,
is now making it easier and more cost effective for its partners to offer backup, restore and disaster recovery solutions.
The company’s business partners receive lead generation programs and distribution, active sales support, and co-marketing.
They also receive benefits such as volume incentive discounts, advanced technical support, and sales and marketing tools. Bacula Systems is also complimenting its new partner program with a new channel-neutral compensation policy on sales for its direct-sales force.
Bacula Systems has designed its Business Partner Program for partners that represent the company’s products and services. The company offers distributors, system integrators and value-added resellers (VARs) a comprehensive set of resources to deliver highly scalable backup and restore solutions to their enterprise customers.
"Bacula Systems is defining a new market opportunity for our global Business Partners that will enable them to increase their skills and expand their business in support of data centers that need to modernize their backup solutions, while driving down costs," said Aristide Caraccio, VP of sales and marketing Worldwide, Bacula Systems.
"Commeo is pleased to be a Bacula Systems distributor," said Philippe Adoux, director of Commeo in France. "Our customers will benefit from easy, accessible testing of Bacula Enterprise Edition. This partnership also ensures quality backup solutions are available today for our customers' data center needs. We look forward to working with Bacula Systems to expand our market opportunities in France."
