ComSci to Showcase Cost Transparency Solution at Gartner Summit in Orlando

ComSci, a global provider of technology financial management solutions, announced that it will exhibit cost transparency solutions at Gartner (News - Alert) IT Financial, Procurement & Asset Management Summit in Orlando, FL.

ComSci is planning to exhibit its SaaS (News - Alert)-based Technology Financial Management modules, including ITCostFlow and Budget Forecaster, company officials said.

Leveraging ITCostFlow and Budget Forecaster, C-suite leadership, senior IT executives, as well as IT finance and service and product management professionals can deploy strategic financial modeling discipline within their IT organization, according to a company statement.

The Gartner summit will analyze how ITCostFlow can create an intuitive and efficient method of mapping IT cost drivers such as salaries and maintenance to the products and services.

Interrelated BillBrowser module, which assists IT organizations in attaining total technology cost, capacity and utilization transparency will also be showcased. BillBrowser offers in-depth SaaS-based reporting and dashboards that communicate the costs, utilization and value of IT Services delivered to business units.

ITCostFlow, Budget Forecaster and BillBrowser are part of ComSci’s complete suite of IT cost transparency solutions and products, which also include the fully integrated SaaS-based CIO Invoice and Source (News - Alert) Data Manager modules for complete Technology Financial Management.

ComSci helps IT organizations optimize technology costs by enhancing transparency and visibility, which in turn enables IT and business management to understand demand, utilization and value of its corporate technology resources.

Recently, a new white paper published by ComSci and Rubin Worldwide cautioned that false transparency prevents businesses from providing technology cost accountability at both the business “consumer” and IT “supplier” levels.

The white paper, entitled, “The Real Value of IT Cost Transparency: Overcoming False Transparency,” explores false transparency as organizations develop capabilities to communicate technology value and performance that only partially monitor a full technology portfolio, subsequently misrepresenting how business objectives and technology assets are aligned.
