Intelligent Solutions for Information Systems Hires Veterans to Meet Rising Growth Requirements

Maryland based defense contractor, Intelligent Solutions for Information Systems (ISIS) announced that it is going to hire 50 veterans to meet its rising growth requirements and the demands of its prime contractors.

ISIS claimed that it has gained a reputation for quality that has led both large and medium-sized systems integrators to solicit ISIS to help create winning teams to pursue federal government contract awards. Its focus is on supporting the development, integration, and deployment of systems for national and tactical-level end users; and providing technical analysis and recommendations to the DoD and Intelligence Community.

The company explained that it realized that it needs to hire individuals with strong backgrounds in program/project management, systems administration and network engineering immediately. For that purpose, it has launched a 30/30 campaign with a goal of hiring 30 people in 30 days. ISIS is looking for Veterans to fill those jobs.

Amidst this economic instability and the rising percentage of unemployment, veterans returning from Iraq and Afghanistan would find it hard to get themselves employed. To help them, the U.S. government recently announced a $120 million new tax credits for businesses that hire Veterans. ISIS claimed that already fifty percent of the work force it has employed is veterans with many of them serving as reservists.

Officials with ISIS commented that they are recognized by large defense contractors as a trusted, credible and competent teaming partner. In fact, the prime contractor’s customers views ISIS as a pivotal member of their team in support of the mission. They have also been recognized by the Office of the Secretary of Defense as a 'Patriotic Employer' and they want to reinforce that by hiring as many veterans as possible.

The company added that even though it is a small business, ISIS will do everything possible to attract and hire veterans to join its organization and answer the administration’s call to employ those who made sacrifices to defend and protect the country.
