Roamware Intros World's First Cloud-Based Roaming Service for Mobile Operators

Roamware (News - Alert), a global leader in mobile roaming solutions, recently announced the launch of RoamCloud, the world’s first cloud-based roaming service for mobile operators. The entire suite of RoamCloud applications will be available on demand.

RoamCloud will reduce the time to market for all the mobile operators by enabling on demand roaming services. This service will be provided and supported by 24x7 managed services infrastructure.

RoamCloud is the world’s first product with a blend of cloud services and roaming solutions package. RoamCloud not only provides cloud-based roaming services solutions, but also business consulting, managed services, and predictive intelligence to deliver targeted business results for mobile operators. This is the best value centric roaming solution package available in the world, according to company officials.

The rate at which mobile operators have to innovate at delivering services is rapidly growing and operators nowadays need to ensure that all their customers have unmatched services. Mobile operators are also constantly looking at minimizing investment risks in new services and need to keep pace with the service innovation to maximize their revenue. Informa’s (News - Alert) Camille Mendler said, “Communication service providers (CSPs) committed nearly US$8 billion to cloud-related pursuits in the first six months of 2011,” according to a statement.

Roamware’s RoamCloud services provide a host of benefits to mobile operators including the fact that they don’t have to invest heavily in software and hardware. They have an upper hand in time to market using RoamCloud and don’t have to do extensive investment in expanding their new services, officials explained. RoamCloud allows them to start small and expand based on the customer usage and allow them to roll out new services seamlessly to their customers.

In a release, Roamware’s CTO and EVP of Product Management Dr. John Jiang said, “Mobile Operators need a solution that will help them mitigate risks associated with new roaming services. As the global leader in roaming solutions, RoamCloud will take us further in addressing real business issues for mobile operators and deliver solid returns on investments while mitigating risks.”
