Equal Experts and 10gen Sign Implementation Partnership Agreement

Equal Experts, a provider of bespoke application development services to blue chip clients, and 10gen, a deliverer of production support, training, and consulting for the database, announced an implementation partnership agreement through which Equal Experts will make use of MongoDB, 10gen’s document database, to deliver outstanding enterprise solutions.

MongoDB is a scalable, high-performance, open source, document-oriented database that can be deployed in scenarios such as content management, comment storage, management, voting and user registration, profile, session data and more. MongoDB supposedly provides a lot of the features of a traditional RDBMS such as secondary indexes, dynamic queries, sorting, rich updates, upserts (update if document exists, insert if it doesn't), and easy aggregation.

MongoDB focuses on flexibility, power, speed, and ease of use; its database technology is capable of running anywhere and available for both for running on one’s own servers or VMs, and also as a cloud ‘pay-for-what-you-use’ service.

Equal Experts acknowledged that MongoDB provided it with a scalable, high performance, open source database with the flexibility to support multiple types of entities with ease. This perfectly complements the company’s Agile (News - Alert) software development methodology and the excellent support and consultancy skills from 10gen helped it to ensure its solutions are production ready.
