Laying Out Benefits of SD-WAN Solutions

Talari, a company that has been recognized as one of the global leaders when it comes to providing Software Defined WAN solutions has just gotten a rather large honor when it was named as a top provider for SD-Wan solutions by industry analyst Gartner (News - Alert). Talari was named in a report called “Technology Overview for SD-WAN” and it should be pointed out that the firm has to be having some rather decent success if it is going to make a mention for such a well known analyst firm.

While detailing that Talari is a a player in this tech, the report also says that SD-WAN is an emerging technology in the world that offers a number of benefits, especially when compared to router based WANs. Among the benefits offered by this new tech is the ability for decision makers to have better control over costs as well as agility that means better simplification across the network.

"SD-WAN is a new and transformational way to architect, deploy and operate corporate WANs, as it provides a dramatically simplified way of deploying and managing remote branch office connectivity in a cost-effective manner," Andrew Lerner and Neil Rickard wrote at Gartner in the July 2015 Technology Overview for SD-WAN.

The industry analyst does point out that this is a pretty new approach to a technology that has been around for a while but it is already showing real savings for decision makers who are looking to have a stronger and more agile network for their enterprise level needs. For its part, Talari said it was happy to be named in the report as one of the main providers of SD-WAN solutions. The company was also glad that Gartner was willing to better lay out just what benefits this kind of technology can bring businesses moving forward.
