Ipanema Technologies announced it has appointed Ben Heisler as Senior Vice-President of sales in the Americas. An industry leader in network solutions, Ipanema (News - Alert) provides enterprises with the solutions they need to guarantee business application performance, regardless of IT complexity.
Heisler comes to Ipanema Technologies after two years of holding the position of Sr. RD NorthEast and Central Regions for North America at Coraid, a company that provides cloud storage solutions. Previous to this, he held the position of Area Vice-President at Zeus Technology, which has since been acquired by Riverbed (News - Alert), a leader in Application Performance Infrastructure. Heisler has also played a role at Opalis Software, VERITAS, Oracle and ADP. He completed his education at Union College. Heisler will report to Jim Darragh, CEO at Ipanema Technologies.
“Real market leadership is measured by proven value delivered to customers and an agile business strategy and execution. Ipanema is taking advantage of the current market volatility by further investing in the Americas market. Ben Heisler has an extraordinary wealth of knowledge in cutting edge networking technology, combined with a passion for excellence in global
business leadership. I believe that he will take Ipanema to the next level and bring opportunities and growth in North America”, states Jim Darragh.
The appointment of Heisler comes after recent success for Ipanema in the U.S.
In today’s growing technological world there is a clear need for more intelligent solutions. Ipanema has recently partnered with AT&T (News - Alert) and Link America, providing managed services that guarantee their application SLAs across global WANs, regardless of cloud or on-premises software.
Heisler expresses excitement for his new position, “I’m very proud to be part of this adventure and build on the already solid foundations here in the N. America, Ipanema is the only company I looked at that could provide an integrated suite for actionable intelligence of your applications on the network. The platform is best of breed in that it is open, fully featured, integrated and purpose built to solve this problem head on. This unique approach from an application down vs. merely a stale packet inspection approach will make us quickly successful in North America.” states Heisler.
