ePlus Technology Receives Cisco Customer Satisfaction Award

ePlus Inc. announced today that one of its subsidiaries has received a Cisco (News - Alert) Customer Satisfaction Excellence Gold Star for its performance of customer service as a Cisco partner.

That subsidiary is ePlus Technology, a company that helps enterprises bolster infrastructure and supply chain processes with Cisco products. This is not the first time the company has received this award; indeed, its string of Customer Satisfaction honors shows that it has remained consistent throughout many years of operation. Jerry McIntosh, the senior vice president of advanced technology solutions at ePlus Technology, commented on received the award for the 13th time.

“We're proud to be acknowledged for the 13th time by Cisco for delivering an exceptional customer experience,” McIntosh said. “We approach every client engagement with an unwavering commitment to customer service as we help organizations plan, build, support, and optimize Cisco advanced technologies. Our ability to earn this meaningful designation from Cisco time and time again is a testament to our keen focus on customer satisfaction and earning our role as trusted technology advisor.”

Cisco indicates that it select partners based on a number of criteria. Its Resale Channel Program gives its prospective partners documentation and guidance about how they can best deliver Cisco product to their customers. The program also rates prospective partners with third-party audits to determine how adept they are at implementing best practices, providing sales support, and providing customer service. What results is a collection of tested resellers that are able to give their own customers the best support possible because each reseller has enough training to win awards for its performance.

Within the reseller program, ePlus has achieved the rating of a Gold Certified Partner, which requires that it become specialized in a number of certifications such as security, collaboration, cloud services, and managed services – all of which ePlus has achieved with programs such as the Advanced Enterprise Networks Architecture Specialization. Partners such as ePlus must show competence over a rolling 12-month period to be eligible for Customer Satisfaction and similar awards.
