Friendly's TR-069 Device Management Solution Deployed by Tiscali

Friendly Technologies, the unified device management company, confirmed that its TR-069 Device Management solution has been selected by Tiscali (News - Alert) Italy, an alternative telecommunications companies in Italy.

Friendly's TR-069 Suite allows carriers and xSPs to reduce the deployment, management, and support costs of data, VoIP, IPTV (News - Alert) and Smart Home services. These products are based on the TR-69 and SNMP standards, and have the ability to streamline and simplify the entire service life cycle of broadband devices from deployment till on-going management and support. This allows service providers to reduce cost and ensure customer satisfaction.

As per the announcement, Tiscali will use Friendly’s TR-069 Device Management solution to simplify and accelerate the provisioning, deployment, management and monitoring of its broadband devices and services. The solution will enable Tiscali to reduce the workload handled by Tiscali's Customer Support Center, thereby significantly improving customer satisfaction and loyalty.

With improving real-time communications, carriers are more focused in improving subscribers' quality of experience and streamline the deployment of broadband services. With a consistent growth of its subscriber base, Tiscali was looking for a unified device management solution that could automate the provisioning process of new subscriber devices as well as simplify the call handling and resolution process of the customer support center. To ease out this process, Friendly's solution was smoothly deployed by Tiscali, with full back-office integration of Friendly's ACS and Tiscali's OSS/BSS/CRM systems.
