Three New Orders for Cloud Services Acquired by Allot Communications

Allot Communications (News - Alert), a provider of optimization services for broadband and cloud operators, has acquired large-scale orders from three international cloud providers. The new orders, announced recently via company statement, represent the diverse set of tools and solutions Allot Communications has developed in this space.

One of the announced orders comes from a U.S. based provider of cloud services. Allot Communications will provide the customer with a solution implementing service level agreement (SLA) monitoring for their cloud-based services. The solution augments the multiple products provided by the customer and spans the customer’s array of data centers across the globe.

“Cloud providers require solutions that can enhance application performance and provide service agility, availability and scalability,” commented Yaniv Sulkes, AVP Marketing, Allot Communications.

A data center provider in Latin America has ordered an Allot Cloud Access Optimization solution. The solution will enhance their cloud platform, web hosting, and data storage services. The customer’s enterprise customers will now enjoy multi-tenanted visibility across the range of applications they provide.

“Allot’s Cloud Access Optimization Solutions provide multi-tenanted visibility and control,” Mr Sulkes added. “This enables providers to reduce the complexity of matching resources with business priorities while meeting their rigorous service quality demands.”

Allot Communications has also secured an order for Allot NetEnforcer, a data traffic monitoring and management solution. The NetEnforcer device intelligently analyzes and steers traffic using Allot’s Dynamic Actionable Recognition Technology. The customer, a multinational IT services provider based in Europe, will see improved visibility, control and management for clients using services distributed across the customer’s data centers.

These orders add to the 2 previous major orders acquired this month by the company. On September 4th Allot Communications announced the expansion of an existing order with a mobile operator offering music streaming services, and on the 8th announced a $15M expansion order for its Service Gateway (News - Alert) Tera solution, along with other quality-added services.
