Comings & Goings: Talari Names New VP of Worldwide Sales

In connection with the increasing demand for more bandwidth and improved reliability at a reasonable cost, Talari has appointed Randy Schirman its new vice president of worldwide sales. Schirman, who has more than 20 years of experience in sales and leadership, will be responsible for leading the company's sales team and fostering relationships with customers, solutions providers, distributors and resellers around the globe.

Talari is a network reliability and business continuity solutions provider that offers efficient and reliable networks by aggregating multiple diverse networks into a virtual WAN, continuously adapting traffic in real time based on the availability and quality of network paths. Prior to becoming a part of Talari, Schirman was the senior vice president of worldwide channels for Riverbed (News - Alert) Technologies and developed strong alliances with many industry giants as part of the Riverbed leadership team. Before that he served as vice president of sales at Citadel Security Software (News - Alert) and played an important role in the company's acquisition by McAffee. He also spent numerous years as vice president of service provider sales at NetScreen Technologies.
