Updated Anturis 1.5 Cloud Solution Offers Printer Monitoring and a Mobile App

Anturis has announced an updated version of its IT monitoring and troubleshooting solution, featuring new mobile application and printer monitoring support. Anturis 1.5 is geared toward the needs of SMBs and is delivered as a simple, cost effective cloud solution.

The upgraded offering lets users monitor local networks, servers, applications and printers. The new print monitor feature lets users monitor all printers without requiring a standalone software solution, making it easy to pinpoint jams, empty cartridges and other issues as well as to forecast and monitor usage to properly plan for supplies.

The new release also features a beta version of the company’s Anturis Mobile monitoring app for Android (News - Alert) devices. This lets users go beyond the local network to keep tabs on websites, web applications, networks and servers, no matter where they are located. The app provides an overview of the entire IT infrastructure status for quick and easy problem troubleshooting.

Anturis has been going exposure and also building up its industry relationships. Last month the company announced its Partner Program, designed to let service providers, developers and resellers become affiliates of the company as well as sales or OEM partners. The company is already working with Parallels, and its solution offers Parallels Plesk integration. The offering also provides complete Apache web server monitoring functionality.

Google (News - Alert) is also a valuable ally, and the company’s Anturis Mobile app for Android is available free through the Google Play tore for users of Android 4.0 smartphones and tablets.
