Novosoft Enhances its Handy Backup Solution with Advanced Windows 8 Backup Features

Novosoft, a provider of backup solutions for both home and corporate users, further upgraded its Handy Backup product. The new version Handy Backup v7.4.8 features advanced Windows 8 backup features and GUI enhancements.

Aleksey Dolgushev, head of handy backup business development department said, “Our solutions carry multiple Microsoft’s (News - Alert) marks and approvals. Compatibility of Handy Backup with Windows 8 confirms that it correctly exploits all specifics of the operating system and ensures that each component of the program works perfectly under any system configuration.”

Officials explained that the software which features several one-click presets will be able to optimize restore and backup of Windows 8 data and other applications..

Handy Backup also features a built-in smart scheduler which enables all types of Windows 8 backup such as full, differential or incremental backup on a minute to monthly basis. Many different storage options are supported by the software like local and networked drives, FTP/FTPS/SFTP, WebDAV servers, Amazon S3 and HBDrive.

Other supported storage locations include USB, NAS, CD, DVD, FTP, SFTP, FTPS, WebDAV, Amazon S3, Dropbox (News - Alert), Yandex.Disk and other destinations as well. Data can be stored securely on a remote server using the HBDrive online backup service.

In addition, Windows 8 data can also be backed up with 128-bit encryption and transferred through secure protocols. This eliminates chances of unauthorized access to information.

Version 7.4.8 of Handy Backup is an all-inclusive Windows 8 backup software which will be available for free during the 30-day trial period. Users can download the software from the company website.
