Comings & Goings: ePlus Promotes Chad Frederick as New President of ePlus Group

ePlus Inc., a Virginia-based integrator of technology solutions, announced today that they have appointed Chad Frederick as the new president of their subsidiary, ePluc Group, Inc.

Frederick, a graduate of the Darden Graduate School of Business Administration at the University of Virginia, has been with ePlus Group for 20 years. He brings with him experience in sales, and many financial services, and has most recently served as the vice president at ePlus Group.

Beside his work with ePlus Group, Frederick is a board member for Junior Achievement of Greater Washington, an organization that works with children from K-12 learn important skills for economic skills. He also cofounded the nonprofit Northern Virginia CFO Roundtable, a place for CFO’s to build social and business relationships.

The opening of the position came when the president of ePlus Group, Bruce Bowen, whom Frederick worked under as vice president, resigned from his position on March 28, 2014. Bowen founded ePlus in 1990 using his financing expertise. He served as President of ePlus until 1996, and has served many positions within the organization over the years. This resignation does not mean the end of Bowen’s time with ePlus, as he will be taking a seat in ePlus’ Board of Directors. Bowen remains an employee of ePlus, working on business development and special projects.

ePlus’ President and CEO, Philip G. Norton, seems excited to have Frederick move up to the position of President. "I am pleased to congratulate Mr. Fredrick on his new role at ePlus," said Norton. "He has worked closely with Mr. Bowen for two decades and I believe has the experience and leadership capabilities to guide ePlus' financing segment on a continued path of success."

ePlus Group is a subsidiary of ePlus that focuses on financial solutions for clientele. The company’s clients include private businesses and local and federal government contractors. Those financial solutions provided by ePlus Group deal specifically in the field of financing IT equipment and leasing. Frederick’s experience within ePlus Group brings experience that will be important to his role as president, while the relations he has formed as a cofounder of the Northen Virginia CFO Roundtable will also likely be important tools as a leader of ePlus Group.
