euNetworks Extends Partnership with TimoCom to Offer Bandwidth Services in Dusseldorf

euNetworks GmbH, a subsidiary of euNetworks Group Limited has expanded its relationship with customer TimoCom Soft- und Hardware GmbH (‘TimoCom’), one of Europe’s largest freight and warehousing exchanges.

The company is delivering bandwidth connectivity between its office and data centre of TimoCom’s business since 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Both the companies have signed a new multi-year agreement that offers scalable bandwidth to a new data centre site, supporting data centre coupling, and additionally upgrades the connectivity with the deployment of new hardware as part of this.

TimoCom is a provider of an electronic marketplace for the transport sector and rapidly grew from start-up to a medium sized business. The company operates over 44 European countries, with platforms supporting 24 languages and requires rapidly scaling bandwidth services connecting its business sites, from a provider with high quality performance.

Marco Haack, Director of IT Infrastructure and Services for TimoCom Soft- und Hardware GmbH said in a statement, “We’re in the process of transitioning to a new data centre and need a stable network solution to maintain uptime for our customers in the process. The technical expertise, performance and flexibility we receive from euNetworks is invaluable as we continue to expand.”

euNetworks is offering both fiber channel and Ethernet services to TimoCom as they move to a new data centre in Düsseldorf.

Uwe Nickl, Chief Marketing officer of euNetworks said in a statement, “Our mesh based fiber networks in the key cities of Europe, such as Düsseldorf, give us the advantage of being able to offer comprehensive and scalable bandwidth connectivity solutions to our enterprise customers, from their offices to all the key data centers today. TimoCom is a rapidly growing business that needs network infrastructure architected to support their bandwidth needs quickly, with resilience, flexibility and efficiency. We look forward to a growing relationship with TimoCom, supporting them as they continue to transform the freight and logistics market across Europe from their Düsseldorf headquarters.
