CertainStore Announces Public Roll-out of Advanced Cyber Security Solution

CertainStore announced the public roll-out of an advanced cyber security solution embedded with its MicroEncryption/MicroTokenization technologies to restrict consumer data thefts. The solution performs MicroEncryption and MicroTokenization activities on individual files simultaneously to prevent mass scale theft of consumer data. CertainStore leverages a multi-layered approach to build a server defense system, where mass hacking of data on a server becomes mathematically implausible given the data encryption down to byte level.

In a release, Rep. Pete Hoekstra, advisory board member of TransCertain, the parent company of CertainStore, said “During my tenure where I led Congressional intelligence activities I understood that data security could be a matter of life and death. Unfortunately, the reality of the 'big data' age in which we live is that more frequent attacks on private and public sector data will be the norm. They can and will have devastating consequences. CertainStore will change the way data is stored well into the future. It provides unprecedented levels of protection to ensure the security of sensitive data.”

The currently available data security solutions are inadequate to counter planned attacks by hackers, who use brute force to open up the security layers. Once the security layer is breached, the entire data on a server is thrown open to various anti-social elements. The CertainStore solution is designed specifically to target this issue.

Speaking of the CertainStore technology, Dan Furman, CIO of the Federal Improvement Team, said “The modular technology used by CertainStore to achieve safe data storage is truly innovative with its ability to scale to future needs and evolve with the new best practices in the security world.”

CertainStore replaces sensitive data with a MicroToken at the original location and the data is MicroEncrypted with defined algorithms. The MicroEncrypted data is then spread across various servers, thus securing the data from any efforts of unauthorized access. Simultaneously, the application builds around seven levels of perimeter defense mechanisms, thus creating a disruptive force to withhold any form of hacking. Further, CertainStore is compliant with most of the regulatory standards such as DSS, PCI (News - Alert) Level 1, HIPAA, PFI, PCI, PHI and PII.

CertainStore is currently the only solution available in the market, which encrypts data down to the byte level for preventing mass level server breaches. Additionally, CertainStore is also the only cyber security solution that can tokenize data files as huge as 2GB, while being compliant with PCI Level 1.
