Glowpoint Releases Packaged Support Services

Glowpoint (News - Alert), Inc., a provider of cloud-based video collaboration, network and support services, has released new business-class support packages to meet growing demand for secure, business-class video collaboration.

“Support is our industry's 'secret,” said Peter Holst, CEO of Glowpoint, in a statement.

“As video collaboration becomes more popular, many vendors and service providers lead you to believe that the need for support goes away. The exact opposite is true. As the demand for secure, enterprise-grade video collaboration increases and expands globally, the need for support increases and becomes more complex,” said Holst.

He said that the company’s business-class support packages deliver expert, responsive support so one can conduct business more efficiently and effectively.

Officials with Glowpoint said that business-class support packages include-Resolve that is intended for organizations looking to outsource comprehensive video support. Resolve includes 24/7/365 helpdesk plus problem resolution, device maintenance, replacement management, and reporting. 

The package also includes-Helpdesk, which is ideal for organizations looking to outsource first level support for video conferencing. Helpdesk includes 24/7/365 support, device trouble-shooting, and reporting and Notify that has been developed for organizations that have internal support for video and are looking for tools to more effectively support their users.

Notify provides 24/7/365 automated monitoring that immediately alerts team when a device is down and includes live device status and problem notification.

Company officials said that all packaged services can be provided stand-alone, or can be combined with Glowpoint's video collaboration services and/or network services.
