Vision Net to Deliver ScienceLogic's IT Monitoring Software to Service Provider Customers

Vision Net, a provider of communications technology solutions, will be providing ScienceLogic’s (News - Alert) IT monitoring software to its service provider customers.

Customers of Vision Net will benefit from the end-to-end network monitoring and management solutions from Science Logic. By leveraging the ScienceLogic solution IT technicians will be able to quickly address any IT issue, scan applications, servers, network elements or the entire IT service via a single user-friendly dashboard.

This quick response allows the rapid identification of the problem which can be dealt with proactively so that end users are not affected. Response times are significantly reduced in addition to taking less time to monitor.

Officials added that the True multi-tenancy feature enables automated, multi-tenant capabilities which can deliver multiple levels of data segmentation that can be based on user profile, customer profile, geographic profile, technology profile and so on.

The dashboard reporting features are intuitive and smart highlighting all aspects of the company’s infrastructure and customers’ infrastructures, offering insights into how to create new reports. Furthermore the ScienceLogic appliance-based products are highly scalable.

To optimize the running of complex, distributed computing infrastructures ScienceLogic has designed its software to integrate core IT monitoring functions such as network, service, event, and asset management capabilities, along with multi-tenancy, run book automation, and service desk. These capabilities are provided in an all-in-one product using a single unified code base, user interface and centralized data repository.

ScienceLogic announced a full scale integration with Puppet Enterprise 3.0 from Puppet Labs, a specialist in IT Automation in August ‘13. The integration will empower IT administrators to standardize, automate change, and manage policies, while simultaneously ensuring the performance and availability of their systems and Puppet Enterprise deployments.
