CA Technologies Named 'Leader' by Forrester Research

CA (News - Alert) Technologies (CA) recently was named a “Leader” in “The Forrester Wave: Identity and Access Management Suites, Q3 2013.” The officials from CA said that company has been recognized for its solutions, namely SiteMinder, CA IdentityMinder, CA GovernanceMinder and CA CloudMinder.

 “CA Technologies (News - Alert) provides a well-rounded suite both in the cloud and on-premises,” the report stated. “CA Technologies moved from an IAM acquirer to an IAM technology innovator.”

CA Technologies provides IT management solutions that help customers manage and secure complex IT environments to support agile business services. In related news, CA Technologies and Mycroft Inc. announced XSpectra, a new cloud service from Mycroft that combines CA CloudMinder, the Identity and Access Management (IAM) as-a-Service solution from CA Technologies, with Mycroft's industry technologies and top-tier security operations center management expertise. According to a release, Mycroft designed XSpectra as a fully managed service offering for mid-size and emerging businesses. It leverages CA CloudMinder's identity management, advanced authentication and federated single sign-on capabilities, for both cloud-based and on-premise applications, to help customers quickly and affordably manage identities, secure applications and protect sensitive business data.
