Shaping Cloud Adds Staff to Team

Cloud computing is becoming bigger every day and, as a result, there are plenty of companies looking to get staffed up rather quickly. Whether talking about enterprise companies that are brand new to the cloud, or financial companies that are looking to get better service from their cloud service providers, companies are finding that they need as big a staff as possible in order to handle the increased demand from all sectors of the business world.

Shaping Cloud is a Manchester, U.K.-based company that has recently hired a couple of new developers to an expanding team of people who are all well versed in putting the cloud together. The timing of the new hires is not random, as Shaping Cloud recently earned a place on the U.K. government’s G-Cloud framework. Being put on this particular framework has led to a number of new contracts from clients.

Among the reasons for new hires, Shaping Cloud is facing the same kinds of issues as other cloud-based companies, in that it needs to make sure that it has the right number of staff to hire an increased workload for its servers. Security is key when talking about working in the cloud as well and the very best service providers are those who make sure that their safety and security standards are top notch.

George Harnwell is the first new hire the company announced. Harnwell has joined the company as a Junior Developer. Harnwell was recruited right out of college after he earned a degree in Computer Science with Games Development. Nicholas Mitchell is the other new hire, and his position is reportedly going to be as one of the company’s front-end developers. Mitchell will be tasked with supporting the company’s mobile and Web development team.

Shaping Cloud has been rising in the ranks of the top cloud service companies in the U.K for some time. Previous contracts include the Manchester Building Society, Oxford University Press and the University of Nottingham.
