Signetique Empowers Cloud Hosting Customers with 'Build Your Own Cloud'

Signetique, a Singapore-based cloud hosting company, recently enhanced its Signetique Cloud to help enterprises “build their own cloud.”

An important component of the cloud hosting solution is Build Your Own Cloud (BYOC) that provides customers with greater control over their cloud hosting configurations.

With BYOC, customers no longer need to choose from prebuilt servers with set configurations; instead they can purchase resources and build any number of virtual machines as allocated, said Raymond Tan, CEO of Signetique.

The company launched Signetique Cloud in May this year. With this, the company is eyeing the rapidly growing public cloud hosting market that is expected to top $159.3 billion worldwide by 2020.

Signetique Cloud is designed to deliver enterprises an affordable, enterprise-class, public cloud hosting service. The all-inclusive cloud hosting service model encompasses compute instances, high availability, backups and bandwidths.

“Signetique Cloud has been built with ease of use and simplicity in mind,” said Kenneth Tan, COO, in a statement. “With Signetique Cloud, our customers, especially SMEs, will find it easy to outsource their web applications while continue to work in a familiar environment.”

Some of the new capabilities of Signetique Cloud include Integrated VM console, IPv4 and IPv6 support, auto scaling, build private cloud servers, cloud health monitoring with automatic failover, and automated and ad-hoc backups

The VM snapshots stored outside of SAN allow true disaster recovery. The solution also provides Web and iOS-based cloud management.

In addition to these enhancements, Signetique also allows customers to choose from a range of prebuilt cloud servers. These cloud servers can be modified to meet actual resource allocation for each cloud. Prebuilt Clouds start from 1vCPU, 1GB RAM (News - Alert), 25GB of storage and 50GB of image backup space.

Also recently, Signetique launched a Parallels Plesk Panel-ready edition of its enterprise cloud hosting service. Parallels Plesk Panel remains an integral part of Signetique's hosting management and automation, the company said.
