Familiarities with cloud-based apps are growing at a faster pace and developers are increasingly focusing on this technology. LogMeIn (News - Alert) is equally involved in promoting cloud application services.
The company is geared to help managed service providers, value-added resellers and other outsourced IT service providers capitalize on the growing shift to cloud-based apps and employee-introduced technology through its new channel program called LogMeIn Elevate.
"When talking to today's MSPs and IT service providers, almost all of them are looking for ways to shift their future portfolio toward the needs of cloud-centric businesses - and with that, change the focus of management from networks and devices to users and apps. The goal of our channel program will be simple: Give service providers the tools, education, marketing support they need to accelerate this transition," Ted Roller, vice president of channel development for LogMeIn, said in a statement.
MSPs, VARs and IT service providers that sign up for the program will receive:
The channel program will initially be rolled out to North American service providers, with international expansion expected later in the year.
The initial phase will help IT service providers create new, high-margin remote management and support services around a growing mix of employer-introduced and employee-introduced devices.
A second phase, expected to be rolled out later this year, will introduce a reseller program for LogMeIn's popular collaboration and productivity app, as well as third-party cloud app management capabilities through a channel-focused version of LogMeIn's new IT offering, AppGuru.
Recently, LogMeIn released a new version of its flagship mobile remote support and customer care offering.
