i3 and Romonet Partner to Offer TCO Analysis to Enterprise Data Center Operators

Understanding total cost of ownership (TCO) is highly important in the financial services sector. It helps consumers and enterprise managers determine direct and indirect costs of a product or system.

i3 and Romonet have signed a partnership to provide first lifecycle TCO analysis to enterprise data center operators.

Under the partnership, Romonet's TCO analysis capabilities will be implemented to i3 Solutions Group's services. This will help i3 Solutions Group customers by providing the industry's only consultancy solution that brings together IT and facilities with a common and accurate TCO modeling capability.

Michael Garibaldi, Managing Partner of i3 Solutions Group said in a statement, "Understanding TCO is highly important in the financial services sector, but notoriously difficult to do. As a result, it is often not done at all, adding Romonet's technology to our services means that it now becomes easy to model all the financial aspects in addition to the operational ones. For the first time it allows full cost 'what-if' situation modeling and analysis."

Romonet software, a true TCO modeling technology offers data center operators with the ability to control data center costs, thereby reducing financial risk and increasing operational predictability.

Romonet Portal 2.0 is the latest version of its SaaS (News - Alert)-based data center performance and lifecycle management software suite.  Earlier, data center owners were only able to estimate IT costs that makes it impossible for them to judge whether the data center is actually working as expected.

With Portal 2.0, users can predict, analyze and continuously improve the performance of their data center portfolio and thereby minimize the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to a level of granularity and precision that is impossible with traditional tools.

Zahl Limbuwala, CEO of Romonet, adds, "Partnering with i3Solutions Group enables us to address the growing demand from companies in those sectors -- especially financial services organizations."
