Data Foundry Partners with Radware

Data Foundry, a datacenter outsourcing, colocation, disaster recovery, and managed services provider, recently announced that announced today that it has started a partnership with DefensePro(R) Attack Mitigation Systems from Radware (News - Alert) RDWR, an application delivery and application security solution provider. As a result of the agreement, Data Foundry’s clients in North America will be able to secure their infrastructure via a service that uses DefensePro(R) Attack Mitigation Systems.

DefensePro is a real-time network attack prevention device that protects application infrastructure against network & application downtime, application vulnerability exploitation, malware spread, network anomalies, information theft and other emerging network attacks. DefensePro includes the set of security modules – Intrusion (News - Alert) Prevention System (IPS), Network Behavioral Analysis (NBA), Denial-of-Service (DoS) Protection and Reputation Engine – to fully protect networks against known and emerging network security threats. It is based on standard signature detection technology to prevent the known application vulnerabilities.

"We're pleased that Data Foundry has selected our technology to help their customers mitigate DDoS attacks," said David Anderson, vice president of sales at Radware. "Our Attack Mitigation System is the most advanced solution for protecting clients against a wide range of DDoS attacks -- including large flood attacks as well as the more insidious application-level attacks that we are seeing more of today in a rapidly evolving cyber warfare theater."

The core of DefensePro is patent-protected behavioral-based real-time signatures technology that detects and mitigates emerging network attacks in real time such as zero-minute attacks, DoS/DDoS attacks and application misuse attacks. All without the need for human intervention and without blocking legitimate user traffic.

"With the ever-increasing frequency of DDoS attacks, our customers across all vertical markets have asked for a solution to help mitigate these attacks," said Edward Henigin, CTO of Data Foundry. "As we pride ourselves on being a customer-driven organization, we are pleased to offer our customers a new managed service for DDoS mitigation that leverages the Radware solution. Our clients will benefit from far greater levels of protection that is typically offered by the rudimentary anti-DDoS offerings available from cloud-scrubbing companies and network infrastructure vendors."
