Apex Technology Services Helps Organizations Stay Secure

It is always a good thing when you can find IT technicians that are not only very knowledgeable but also patient and friendly. We see such a group of people at Apex (News - Alert) Technology Services, based out of Norwalk, Conn., and reaching as far as New York City.

Originally, the group of technicians started as the IT department and data center management team for a large publishing company in Fairfield County, Conn. The group found that its services could be useful, and so Apex Technology Services was formed to help replicate its success for others.

Apex Technology offers a variety of services that are maintained around the clock on a yearly basis. It is a company that can custom tailor its services to any small or medium sized business (SMB). Some of its services include managed IT services, backup and disaster recovery, cloud services and on-site and remote support.

Apex Technology provides secure hosted exchange, something that is immensely important these days. With the proliferation of Bring-Your-Own-Device (BYOD) environments in the workspace today, the need for secure working conditions is essential.

Tom Keating (News - Alert), Apex Technology’s CTO, said, “Securing your IT infrastructure has never been more critical. Hackers from around the globe are penetrating into corporate networks and even foreign governments have been caught penetrating U.S. networks. Thousands of new viruses and security exploits are created daily. Apex has been helping organizations lock down their networks for years.”

TMC (News - Alert) is happy to announce that Apex Technology will be joining us in New York City next month. Apex Technology has signed on as a Platinum Sponsor for our Secure Mobility Conference, which will be held at the NYU Kimmel Center on July 23, 2013.

“We're honored to be a Platinum Sponsor at the Secure Mobility Conference, where we will help educate attendees on security best practices," Keating said.

TMC’s CEO and conference chairman, Rich Tehrani (News - Alert), added, “BYOD has quickly become an industry issue that requires multiple levels of support. Apex is able to provide a multi-service experience to their clients and we are excited to hear their thoughts on how companies can best address this growing threat."
