BRS Labs AISight System Now Interoperable with Cisco Video Surveillance Manager

Combating security threats has become a great concern over the past decade. Despite the advances made in other areas of security infrastructure, video surveillance technology’s evolution is still struggling to meet the needs of the market. To address more sophisticated threats, Behavioral Recognition Systems Labs (BRS Labs), a company that builds self-learning behavioral recognition software for enhanced video surveillance, developed AISight.

AISight system is a patented, behavioral recognition system for enhanced video surveillance that delivers real-time alerts for suspicious behavior.

Recently, the company confirmed that it’s AISight behavioral recognition solution has successfully completed interoperability verification testing with Cisco (News - Alert) Video Surveillance Manager, 7.0.1.

Cisco Video Surveillance Manager (VSM) provides a comprehensive system for all video surveillance needs. This system enables network and security teams to collaborate effectively in a highly scalable environment, combining both video and network techniques to optimize the experience.

As a registered third-party developer with Cisco, BRS Labs offers a complementary product offering and has been meeting the needs of joint customers in association with Cisco. With offerings such as AISight, the company believes that customers can more quickly deploy a broad range of Cisco Compatible business applications, devices or services that can enhance the capabilities, performance and management of the Cisco network.

BRS Labs’ AISight is noted to be a highly automated artificial intelligence system that works with a wide range of cameras and networks. It also has the quality to automatically adapt to changing conditions much like a human brain does, but without fatigue, boredom or distraction.

AISight operates seamlessly across multiple locations and scales to thousands of cameras, making it a very practical solution for large-scale deployments. Its real-time alerts are based on bodies of evidence built automatically from behaviors it observes and recognizes within any camera’s field of view.

By completing interoperability verification testing with Cisco Video Surveillance Manager, 7.0.1, BRS Labs is ready to take full advantage of the benefits of the expanding role of the network.

BRS Labs has also announced a new Channel Partner (News - Alert) Program to help partners integrate the company's AISight platform into third-party physical security offerings.

Owing to rising concerns over security and safety matters, MarketPublishers.com’s recent report indicated that the video surveillance market has been evolving in the recent past all over the world.
