Axis Technology Releases Hybrid SaaS Model of DMsuite Platform

Enterprise data masking solutions provider Axis (News - Alert) Technology Software has released a hybrid software-as-a-service (SaaS) model of its flagship product DMsuite. Besides offering all the features of DMsuite platform, the hybrid SaaS (News - Alert) version also enables an immediate plug-and-play installation, said Axis Technology. The announcement was posted on the Wall Street Journal website.

According to Axis Technology, DMsuite’s hybrid SaaS model empowers organizations to instantly lock down their data and meet compliance regulations for a low, pay-as-you-go monthly cost. Since it is available with both on-premise and hosted options, it can be deployed as a SaaS service or as on-premises solution, with the ability to switch from one to the other as needed, said Axis Technology.

The data masking solutions provider said that the hybrid SaaS version also comes with maintenance built into the license, allowing the service to evolve with the company's needs. Also, with added Axis Technology, subscribers to Dmsuite’s hybrid SaaS version can easily upgrade to a premier license at any time, giving them the flexibility coupled with the highest levels of data security.

In a statement, Mike Logan, president of Axis Technology, said, "The hybrid SaaS model is an exciting offering for us. It is easy to use, easy to buy, and you just pay-as-you-go. Companies of all industries and sizes have been asking for something like this, and we are pleased to deliver an option that allows everyone to take advantage of the unmatched security that data masking provides.”

Per Axis Technology’s description, DMsuite secures development, quality assurance and third-party testing environments by removing confidential data and replacing it with realistic, fictitious data. Because the masking transformation is executed in memory, production data is not accessible within DMsuite or anywhere in the target environment, making DMsuite the most secure and effective data masking offering on the market today, claims Axis Technology.

In addition, according to the developer, it maintains referential integrity across business lines and different platforms such as Oracle (News - Alert), MSSQL, Cache, Hadoop and file formats that include VSAM, Excel, delimited and XML.
