IPsoft's Autonomics Platform Delivered with Managed Services from Infosys

IPsoft, a provider of autonomic IT services, has entered into a partnership with Infosys (News - Alert), a company specializing in consulting and technology services. This will entail the delivery of IPsoft’s autonomics platform, IPcenter, along with managed services from Infosys.

According to officials, this synergized solution will greatly enhance the value offered to clients through cost-effective IT operations. IPcenter provides self-learning and self-healing systems that can automate recurring manual IT tasks thereby reducing manual intervention.

IPsoft’s autonomics services will be now augmented by Infosys’ standardized processes and metrics, which will increase the efficiency of IT operations. The combined solution will accelerate sourcing and reduce manual effort needed in routine tasks allowing employees to focus on enhancing the company’s technical capabilities and hence business outcome.

IPsoft and Infosys have planned to collaborate for establishing an Autonomics Center of Excellence and an Autonomics Lab at the Infosys Global Education Center in Mysore, India. The center will train Infosys employees to make them technically competent in this field.

In addition, the Autonomics Lab is expected to develop proofs of concept and design autonomics solutions that will serve the needs of clients. Infosys will be training more than 5,000 employees on IPcenter.
