AOS Strengthens its 600V AlphaMOS Portfolio

Alpha and Omega Semiconductor Limited (AOS), a developer and global supplier of a broad range of power semiconductors and power ICs, recently announced that it has strengthened its 600V AlphaMOS portfolio. The company recently released AOD4C60, AOD3C60, and AOD2HC60 semi-conductors, which are robust and have low on-resistance.

Fabricated using an advanced high voltage MOSFET process designed to deliver high levels of performance and robustness in popular AC-DC applications, these products are ideal for commercial and industrial CFL ballasting as well as LED lighting for residential and commercial applications. By providing low RDS(on), Ciss and Crss, along with guaranteed avalanche capability, this part can be adopted quickly into new and existing offline power supply designs. The AOD4C60, AOD3C60, and AOD2HC60 are immediately available in production quantities with a lead-time of 12-14 weeks. The unit prices for 10,000 pieces of each device are $0.53, $0.43, and $0.31 respectively.
