Tenable Adds Real-Time Security and Compliance Intelligence to Security Center CV Platform

Recently, Tenable Network Security has added real-time security and compliance intelligence capabilities to its SecurityCenter Continuous View (CV) platform.

According to the company, SecurityCenter CV is the only real-time security and compliance intelligence solution on the market that combines active and passive scanning with log, event and NetFlow data in an integrated management platform for 100 percent asset discovery, enabling better security and compliance decisions.

Further, the company has added new utilities to the product that are designed to help security providers perform active scanning, passive network monitoring and security information and event management (SIEM) in a unified platform. In fact, all these actions can be performed without any custom integration, manual data normalization, and point product management.

In addition, the newly added functions are touted as helping organizations to automatically recognize sophisticated attacks through real-time normalization and correlation of vulnerability, threat intelligence, malicious process detection, and anomalous communication relationships.
